Educational Psychologist

Educational Psychologist supports referred students through individual or small group meetings and discussions. At times it may include a facilitation model, where the psychologist works with homeroom teachers to provide accommodations and modifications necessary for students to access learning.

EAL (English as an Additional Language) support

EAL (English as an Additional Language) support

EAL support sessions are provided in English and focus on bridging any identified gaps in ability. The course will be individualised to address the specific needs of each student and will meet the child at their current ability. In addition, the curriculum for these sessions will be coordinated with the current core content curriculum being taught. The aim is to enable the child to transfer to the mainstream class.

Homeroom teacher

Homeroom teacher

Each class is assigned a homeroom teacher whose duties include such responsibilities as recording attendance, making announcements, communicating with parents, implementing PSHE curriculum, etc.

Co-curricular support

Co-curricular support

Secondary school co-curricular support programme is intended to provide both enrichment and core academic support to those students who meet or exceed the expected learning outcomes as well as experience difficulties accessing or keeping pace with the general curriculum.
